Education and learning

Finding the right schools for your child, knowing how to support their learning, understanding the National Curriculum and knowing your rights are all key factors in ensuring that your child has a valuable and enjoyable education.

ParentsCentre's 'Education and learning' section includes information and support on issues including choosing a school, types of school, curriculum and assessment, home education, reports and parents evenings, special educational needs (SEN), bullying, truancy and your rights and responsibilities.

The section includes a number of useful links to further information and organisations providing support. You'll also be able to discuss education and learning issues with other parents or get expert advice in the ParentsCentre forum.
